Ashford Education Group is an independent education provider. We run classes, courses and workshops at high school and higher education level, and we are building the group one division at a time.
Our background.
Ashford Education Group was founded on a simple belief: good teaching should not depend on luck. Too often, whether a learner gets clear explanations, regular feedback and a teacher who truly knows the subject comes down to chance.
We set out to change that by building an education group with clear standards from the very first day: carefully selected teachers, a written outline for every programme, and honest feedback for every learner. We began with Economics, Business Studies and Artificial Intelligence, three subjects that matter more each year to South Africa's economy and to the world of work.
We are organised into divisions so that we can grow without losing what makes us good. Every new division we add will be held to the same Ashford standard.

Our motto sets out what we expect of every learner and every teacher in the group. First you learn properly. Then you grow in confidence and ability. Then you are ready to lead, in your studies, your work and your community.

Ashford is organised into divisions, each with its own focus. This keeps standards high as we grow.
High School Level
Subject support for learners in Grades 8 to 12, following CAPS or the International Baccalaureate (IB).

How we work.
Good education is mostly about doing the basics well, consistently. That is where we put our effort.
Start with where the learner is
Every programme begins by understanding the learner's current level and goals, so we teach what is actually needed.
Teach for understanding
We explain the reasoning behind each idea, then practise applying it, so knowledge lasts beyond the next test.
Measure and adjust
Regular checks show what is working. When something is not, we change the approach.
Keep groups small
Small classes mean every learner gets heard, and teachers can give proper feedback.

Our status. Ashford Education Group is an independent provider of classes, courses and workshops. We are not a school, we are not an IB World School, and we do not award school or degree qualifications. Our programmes support and add to formal study.
